When doing this project my group and I have spent much time together working and coming up with ideas. We started by looking at the best record label and music companies. We were left down to three choices and ended up picking two of the three. We went to various websites including the music companies own website. We found a lot of information on the history of the company and its origin. We visited various websites that talked about the company and its history to get the best information possible.
Some challenges associated with this part of the project is getting the right website and information. Many websites claim to have the history of the company correct and other information, but when clicked on the history section is very short and there is not mush information about the company. Another challenge associated with this is getting the right and needed information and not extra details that do not talk about the company or are not meant to be put. In addition, we had difficulty choosing the way we wanted our video to end up like and what video it was gonna be. At the moment we are thinking about the promotional video but it could change if we want to make it another type.
The nest steps for my group are to think and com up with an idea for the storyboard. We have been thinking on how we are going to do the video and have to get ourselves situated. At the moment we a planning on shooting a promotional video in a park. All of us will be in the video and we will be playing instruments. We are contemplating on whether we should also include a story and plot in the video that follows the lyrics of the song. After shooting the video we are going to edit it all together using the best shots and angles. We might combine the park shots with shots and angles of the story as it related to the lyrics as we are playing instruments.
After editing the video together, my group and I will decide if we like it or if we need to film it again. After this we will study our project for the day of the presentation. We will work together and everyone will have their part that they need to talk about, so everyone need to study and know their part by heart.
